Really good scenery, really good hospitality, with plenty of parking available for easy access to explore the area and a friendly atmosphere, made us feel at home as we enjoyed good meals and a cozy bar/lounge area .

I enjoyed my time here, especially with how friendly the staff were and the excellent food throughout my stay, making it a perfect base for exploring nearby parks like Vogrie Country Park, just almost 2 km away, and taking in the historic charm of Crichton Castle, about 3.5 km away.

Family-friendly getaway with nice perks

We stayed for a night and were super comfy in the family room. The kids had a blast at the playground out back, and dinner was yummy too! The night staff was friendly, tho communication before arrival was a bit tricky. Got in a nice jog nearby, but crossing the busy road takes some extra care.

We had such a lovely stay in the bridal suite, and the staff surprised us with a sweet anniversary wish. The relaxing garden area had cozy seating and a charming view, perfect for unwinding after a long day. Just a heads up, the breakfast choices were a bit limited, but everything else was fantastic! 🎉

The restaurant staff appeared overwhelmed during a busy Father's Day meal, leading to slow service and undercooked food. Despite the positive aspects, the disruptive environment severely impacted the quality of the stay.

Just spent 1 night with my partner. Super nice team, and brekkie was fresh and tasty. Only bummer was the bar area could be a bit livelier.

Homely feel with excellent breakfast options

We were really surprised by the homely and cozy atmosphere. The staff were warm and provided helpful recommendations. We especially enjoyed the cooked-to-order full Scottish breakfast, delicious and set us up for the day. Our room faced the road and was quite noisy at night, which disrupted our sleep.
